Mount Zion's Mission Convention 2019 Opening Ceremony
Isaiah 60:1-10
1 “Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.
3 Nations will come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
4 “Lift up your eyes and look about you:
All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar,
and your daughters are carried on the hip.
5 Then you will look and be radiant,
your heart will throb and swell with joy;
the wealth on the seas will be brought to you,
to you the riches of the nations will come.
6 Herds of camels will cover your land,
young camels of Midian and Ephah.
And all from Sheba will come,
bearing gold and incense
and proclaiming the praise of the Lord.
7 All Kedar’s flocks will be gathered to you,
the rams of Nebaioth will serve you;
they will be accepted as offerings on my altar,
and I will adorn my glorious temple.
8 “Who are these that fly along like clouds,
like doves to their nests?
9 Surely the islands look to me;
in the lead are the ships of Tarshish,
bringing your children from afar,
with their silver and gold,
to the honor of the Lord your God,
the Holy One of Israel,
for he has endowed you with splendor.
10 “Foreigners will rebuild your walls,
and their kings will serve you.
Though in anger I struck you,
in favor I will show you compassion.
Greetings brought by Apostle Dr. David Durant to represent the Barbadian Ministers present at the Convention.

Every call of God and every vision has a birth place. Once you can recall and embrace the birthplace no matter what comes your way you will stand strong because no weapon that forms against you will prosper. The favors of God will shower down an avalanche of blessing a new season of signs and wonders. There are higher places for you to go, He who began a good work will see it to completion. Leaders don’t be afraid to stand on the Word. The favour of God is on you money is coming to you from an unknown source.

Theme: Operating under the Empowerment of the Holy Spirit and the Righteousness of God
Jesus did not start his ministry without the HS, even His conception was because of the HS. That is why the disciples were told to wait until the power of the HS came upon him. The disciples had failed, Peter failed but he got up and was filled with the supernatural power of God.
God wants to empower us to take back territory. There is a territory assigned to us the devil knows it but you don’t know the territory. That is why the devil comes after you he is after the plan God had for you.
God anoints us to fulfill his plan for our lives
The devil sees potential even with the guys on the block. We don’t know the authority we operate in we are called to crush the head of the devil daily and take back territory.
We don’t hand in our guns we are always ready to take back what the devil has stollen. We are loaded, through the Red Sea, through the flood through the fire we are loaded.
Why would Jesus go back for the disciples, why didn’t he just go to his Father?
He went back to a group of distressed, depressed, down trodden, powerless, unsuccessful men. Men that did not know where to go so they went back fishing.
Peter denied Jesus 3 times and Jesus came back for him re-fired and rehired him and he turned the world up-sided down.
Operating under the Empowerment of the Holy Spirit and the Righteousness of God the church will be revived we must take back stollen territory. You are not weak you are strong. He left us to do the job, Jesus did his job now we must do our job. We have the power and anointing to get the job done.
Start to walk on the power, calling those things that are not as though they are.
1 Samuel 30:1- 17
1 David and his men reached Ziklag on the third day. Now the Amalekites had raided the Negev and Ziklag. They had attacked Ziklag and burned it, 2 and had taken captive the women and everyone else in it, both young and old. They killed none of them, but carried them off as they went on their way.
3 When David and his men reached Ziklag, they found it destroyed by fire and their wives and sons and daughters taken captive. 4 So David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep.
There is time to weep then there is a time to shoot
5 David’s two wives had been captured—Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail, the widow of Nabal of Carmel. 6 David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God.
It’s time to take back. You have had enough sleepless nights it’s time to pursue your enemy. The strength of God will let you not only pursue but overtake.
When you are pursuing stop to help those along the way.
11 They found an Egyptian in a field and brought him to David. They gave him water to drink and food to eat— 12 part of a cake of pressed figs and two cakes of raisins. He ate and was revived, for he had not eaten any food or drunk any water for three days and three nights.
13 David asked him, “Who do you belong to? Where do you come from?”
He said, “I am an Egyptian, the slave of an Amalekite. My master abandoned me when I became ill three days ago. 14 We raided the Negev of the Kerethites, some territory belonging to Judah and the Negev of Caleb. And we burned Ziklag.”
15 David asked him, “Can you lead me down to this raiding party?”
He answered, “Swear to me before God that you will not kill me or hand me over to my master, and I will take you down to them.”
16 He led David down, and there they were, scattered over the countryside, eating, drinking and reveling because of the great amount of plunder they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from Judah.
17 David fought them from dusk until the evening of the next day, and none of them got away, except four hundred young men who rode off on camels and fled. 18 David recovered everything the Amalekites had taken, including his two wives. 19 Nothing was missing: young or old, boy or girl, plunder or anything else they had taken. David brought everything back. 20 He took all the flocks and herds, and his men drove them ahead of the other livestock, saying, “This is David’s plunder.”
God wants you to be in the forefront of the battle so He will get the glory. Confront, pursue and be victorious in God become you are Operating under the Empowerment of the Holy Spirit and the Righteousness of God.
God has plans for us He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
