Silver Chords Christmas Party
The Silver Chords ministry of Mount Zion’s Missions caters to persons 60 years and over. Every year we have our Annual Christmas party, where the members meet and mingle with each other, sing Christmas carols, talk about the good old days of Christmases past. They are also entertained with poems and musical renditions. Everyone is given a gift to take home, and as many as can be afforded love offerings.There is an average of 75 persons attending each year, drawn from the Church and it also includes seniors from our community. This year we hope to extend our invitation to include more senior citizens from within our local community increasing the total to 100. This Christmas party is a major event for the Silver Chords, which they look forward to with great excitement and anticipation each year. To God be the glory.
During the event a scrumptious Menu is served, and Christmas Hampers/Gift Packs are handed out.
