The Ruth & Esther Ministry's mission statement is aimed at building self esteem and motivate broken women to aspire to be anything they can be in life.
Patron of the Ruth and Esther Women's Ministry is Madame Justice Dame Sandra Prunella Mason the first President of the Republic of Barbados. The office was established when the country became a parliamentary republic on 30 November 2021. Before, the head of state was Elizabeth II, Queen of Barbados, who was represented on the island by a Governor General. The first and current President is Dame Sandra Mason, who previously served as the last governor-general. |
In 2017 the Patron of the Ruth and Esther Women's Ministry Madame Justice Sandra Prunella Mason QC was invited to our Special Dinner
and we at Mount Zions Mission International were delighted to hear just weeks later that the Barbados Prime Minister, then Freundel Stuart, announced she would be our new Governor General.

Later in November Mount Zion's Missions Ruth and Ester Ministry under the distinguished patronagae of Her Excellency Dame Sandra Mason GCMG, DA. Governor General of Barbados, welcomed her to our Independent Banquet 2018 In 2019 she returned the honour and hosted Ruth and Esther Women's Ministry to Afternoon Tea at Government House Covid prevented us from meeting but Her Excellency Dame Sandra Mason honoured us at our 'Hat Sunday' and again at the Ruth and Esther Independence Gala 2022 |
