Genesis 1: 27
27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

After the fall God called:

Genesis 3: 8 -9 8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” God is still calling even in your thick darkness he is calling. When we were in thick darkness God stepped down, He stepped into our dark world because we are His delights

There's no shadow You won't light up Mountain You won't climb up Coming after me There's no wall You won't kick down No lie You won't tear down Coming after me Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God Oh, it chases me down, fights 'til I'm found, leaves the ninety-nine I couldn't earn it I don't deserve it Still You give yourself away Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God

The devil thought he had won the battle but he too had to hear the voice of God, the curse pronounced over him. Genesis 3:14-15 14 So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, “Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. 15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

The LORD punished the devil today see him crawling. It is He who will bring us out of darkness Isaiah 60:1-2 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. 2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.
