OPERATIONG UNDER THE EMPOWERMENT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD

Speaker: Pastor Sonya
Theme: Point 1: He was in the beginning
Text: Genesis 1:2 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

The Holy Spirit hovered, He was right there at the beginning. He moved, He took action, He changed the atmosphere. The earth was in chaos, thick darkness. The Holy Spirit took action and the thick darkness had to evacuate. Darkness has to go.

Genesis 1:3-4
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.

God does not speak in vain what He said with His mouth He will do with His hands. The uncreated Creator, He spoke and it was.

Genesis 1:5-6
5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. 6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

In the beginning God. He is still speaking putting things in place

Theme: Point 2: He anointed men for specific reasons
Text: Judges 14:5-6
5 Samson went down to Timnah together with his father and mother. As they approached the vineyards of Timnah, suddenly a young lion came roaring toward him. 6 The Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him so that he tore the lion apart with his bare hands as he might have torn a young goat. But he told neither his father nor his mother what he had done.

1 Samuel 16:13
13 So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David.

This is a season to focus on the purpose and work of the Holy Spirit in our life

If the Spirit came on the church powerfully like He did on David then this land would be changed. We must speak God’s Word and things will happen.

When we are transformed God will take over. We need to always be connected to the Holy Spirit not just for a time.

Theme: Point 5: You will experience a season of recovery and restoration

The Holy Spirit creates and through His power in us we can face any demon and devil in the earth.

The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy. He knows he only had to do one thing, separate us from God through sin. Don’t let fellowship be broken. God is a God of restoration and recovery. As a new day dawns we can have a hope and look into the new year and be hopeful. God is still in the business of new life, everlasting life. When we face darkness we can have hope and be restored. We can have a future and be fruitful though the Holy Spirit.

Even Jesus on the cross has to face sin, Satan and death but He has hope. He relied on the Spirit of God to raise Him from the dead.

Do not lose hope. He makes all things new. You are a miracle and He can restore our peace our purpose

Theme: Point 8 It’s no longer man’s agenda
Text: Acts 5:27-29
27 The apostles were brought in and made to appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest. 28 “We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name,” he said. “Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man’s blood.”

We have to come to the place of total surrender. It’s no longer my agenda, the deepness of knowing who God is and who we are in Him has brought us to the place of realization that it’s not about you it’s all about Him.
My help comes from the LORD.

Acts 5: 29
29 Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings!

Had it not been for the Lord where shall I be. Obedience is to strive to please. When you recognize the He violently shed His blood, even before he got to Calvary he suffered pain and his shed blood became my righteousness. The mantle that is upon me makes me Righteous.

Romans 12: 2
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

The Holy Spirit is in the house, God wants to carry on perfecting the righteousness for the journey.

Romans 8:17a
17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ,

When God sees you His heart of compassion sees the righteousness of Christ in you and He has mercy. God wants you to walk upright, He wants you clothed in the robe of righteousness, like the Prodigal son. You are now wrapped up in Jesus, wrapped in His power and glory. When you make a mistake, you get up because God is calling you to get back into your position. You are positioned in the righteousness of God. Your position is that you are already sanctified, justifies and soon glorified. You are robed in splendor, in His righteousness.

Allow the Holy Spirit to remove the carnal nature. Position yourself, the Holy Spirit is empowering you to do His will. Stop your mind from taking over where His Spirit should be in control.

We bind the Spirit of Offence, make things right with that person before the fast is over.

This is the beginning of the end time revival. This is it!

Peter said in Acts 2: 16 -18 'This is that'
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

'This is that!'
