Title: Part 2 - What are you doing here?
Bible Text: 1 Kings 19:1 -9
Set ourselves above the enemy. This week you are shifting God will do it again for you.
What are you doing in the valley when God wants to use you?
Why are you in the valley when God wants you on the mountain top
The enemy rose against Elijah.
Don’t come down from the mountain top and listen to the enemy stay where God has placed you He is with you.
The devil is after your ministry always watching you and reporting about you. He doesn't want you to be happy in God. The enemy wants you to think God has left you
1. The devil came against Elijah. and sent a messenger to him.
1 Kings 19: 2
The worse message is the one inside of you
Shut your ear to the messages in your head. Tell him I am still a child of God. Our God is a ‘hearing prayer’ God. God don't sleep or wear pajamas! Out of your trouble you will come out more than whole. All Things work together for good.
Use the Word of God against the enemy, declare it over your life. Put fire on the devil with the Word. The Word is living Jezebel prophesied over her own life and it came to pass
Be careful what message you are listening.
God has a messenger as well, the Holy Spirit
So reject the devils messenger refuse it, reject it, refute it and rebuke it.
Only receive messages from God
1 Kings 19:3
Elijah ran instead of calling down fire
He should have shown her what His God could do instead he remembered she was a prophet killer.
Stand and face the devil do not let him run you.
Fight Back!! God will deliver you out of your troubles; mash up de devil with the word.
Send back the Word to the enemy.
Do not fear, fear is the opposite of Faith. A tied dog is no dog he could only bark. The devil could only bark. The devil is only like a lion but Jesus is The Lion of the Tribe of Judah.
The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you.
Assignment were sent against Elijah and he forgot that His God was able.
2. Don’t be driven into a spiritual wilderness
1 Kings 19:4
Elijah said ‘I have had enough.’
But God said “You will live and not die”
Only one person can tell you that you have had enough it is God who called you
He keeps His hand on you and builds you up, His Grace is sufficient
If Jesus has said he had enough where would we be today?
Jesus went to the end He finish what God has called Him to do and so will you. Get to the finish line. Complete the task that God has called to you.
He will strengthen you to finished
3. Too many Christian are under a bush sleeping.
1 Kings 19:5
God is the God of a 2nd touch.
God sent an angel to touch Elijah but he lay down again and went to sleep
Circumstances will turn around so get up
Don’t look to man look to God believe God
Rise up and be under God’s divine order God has great plans and ministry for all of us.
1 Kings 19:7
Double portion
Give me a second touch
God has great plans for all of you
1 Kings 19:8
Sustained in the wilderness
God is strengthening you
You will not fail
1 Kings 19:9
If you are not where God placed you then you are out of place
God asked Elijah “what are you doing here?” Out of His will.
So get up God is giving you a second touch, He will give you divine provision and strength for the journey
Today we pray for a fresh mandate a fresh anointing to speak to kings and prophets.
Dear Lord, Give them divine provision and strength for the journey ahead. May our days be strengthened so we can be empowered to do your will. Amen
