Verse 3
The servant was to be there to help him and serve him but at Beersheba Elisha left him there. His servant should not have let that Jezebel message to get through. It’s not over you have a call of God on your life but in verse 4 he felt it was over and he was no better than his fathers who all died in the wilderness God is still your provider He will meet you where you are even in the wilderness You have His name, His blood covers you, He will rescue you. What are you doing in the valley or wilderness? You are supposed to be on the mountain top. My God died for me, He lives for me and He is coming back for me. The man that called down fire from heaven and the next day he was in the valley of despair |

Verse 5 -6
In the wilderness food was provided. Even in the wilderness God will provide because you are still on assignment. God will send angels to minister to you. An angel touched him but here we have the Holy Spirit is here to renew our strength God is my Shepherd he is my strength like no other reaches to me. Arise move from where you are and eat . Get up God has provision for you in the presence of your enemy. |

Verse 7 The angel of the LORD came again the second time and touched him. God is coming through for you He will touch you until you get up and stay up, because you are who God says you are and you will finish your assignment The angel told him the second time because the journey was great. Greatness is upon you we reject small mentality arise and eat you have a big journey God has a big plan for you Verse 8 He got up despite all the the negative words and he traveled for 40 days and came to mount Horeb. The place where God gave the law where it all started. God anointed him afresh and Elisha went back a different way leaving the servant and went on to anoint two kings and a Prophet. Unfortunately the your servant missed it . God will provide Devine provision for your ministry. |
