Acts 2: 1-4
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them.
Talk to God, you talk to your friends, your boss, your children your husband but the problem still persists, but it’s time to talk to God.
What is Prayer?
Prayer is man communicating with God
Prayer is man moving God, whatever your heart is feeling you are giving that to God
Payer is man cooperating with and co-working with God, don’t pray and then try to fix it.
Prayer is allowing God to express Himself to you. When you pray to God stop and listen to God talking back to you.
Prayer is a cry or request for help or an expression of thanks
Prayer is an earnest hope or wish, don’t pray with doubt, that will cancel out the prayer.
Why should we talk to God? Because He is the best person to talk to, we go to all our friends and eventually you go to God. Go to God first. Pray to Him because He is your Father.
A child runs to Daddy with arms outstretched the same way no matter how often you go to God in prayer He is glad to hear you.
Turn the tables on the devil and start talking to God, it will terrorize hell and bring down heaven.
The early churches started by talking to God, we now have so many medium platforms to talk, WhatsApp, Facebook etc we talk so much but we must talk to God first
God responds talk to God. He is not just Father but He is the I AM whatever or whoever you want Him to be He is the great I AM.
When the disciples asked Jesus how should they pray this was his answer:
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Praise God, we have a Daddy that loves to talk. Some people don’t know the voice of God, if you would stop talking you would hear the voice of God. He talks though a song, He speaks through a sermon, He always speaks though His Word, the devil hates it when you read the Bible.
1 Samuel 3: 7-11
7 Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD: The word of the LORD had not yet been revealed to him.
8 A third time the LORD called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”
Then Eli realized that the LORD was calling the boy. 9 So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, LORD, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
10 The LORD came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”
Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
11 And the LORD said to Samuel: “See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears about it tingle
God knows your name, he has your email! God speaks to anyone at any age, Samuel was only a child, God wants to talk to him even though he was only a child. No matter what age you are, talk to Him.
Seek God for guidance He will give you direction, whatever situation you are going through talk to God, He will hear and respond.
Exodus 3: 3-4
3 So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”
4 When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!”

You don’t have to go to the church, or temple to talk to God, you don’t have to go to the Priest or Apostle for them to talk to God on your behalf that is not true, you can talk to God.
You don’t have to kneel down on your knees, you can talk to God in your car.
You don’t have to even have the words to talk to God, you may just groan and the Holy Spirit will take those groans and take them to God.
>Don’t stop talking even if you are in the valley, keep talking to God. He is your best friend, He wants to talk to you.
>When you are on your mountain top, talk to God, you feel you have everything in place, you have no problems you are on the mountain top, but still talk to God.
God waits on us, that is why the devil tries to distract us from talking to God.
You don’t have to say words, Hannah did that, she went to the temple and only her lips moved as she talked to God. Her spirit was talking to God . The Priest thought she was drunk, but she was drunk with the Holy Spirit. God answered her prayers. Sometimes we need to talk to God quietly.
Parents need to cover their children with prayer, pray for them, anoint them with oil, teach them how to talk to God.
1 John 5:14
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
God is a talking God He spoke the world into being and we are made in His image and likeness and the Holy Spirit is within us The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
Luke 10:19
I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
We have the mind of God to speak to circumstances, the devil has silenced the church, backed us in the corner and convinced the church that God does not hear your prayers.
