This is a story about Jesus ministering to His church who has lost its wine, lost its joy.
Jesus knew that the church would be persecuted but He said He would build His church and no gates of hell could stand against it.
The joy of being able to fellowship together have been put on pause.
Come with excitement and joy into the house of the Lord.
Isaiah 60
Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
3 The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
He knew thick darkn
ess would come but the church has the right to rejoice.
The joy of the Lord is your strength, Jesus is not coming back for a broken church. Keep your eyes on Jesus
John 2: 1-10
Verse1. Jesus was an invited guest. He was in on guest list and seating was arranged according to their importance. Make sure Jesus is seated at the highest place at the bridal table. Put Jesus in all your business.
Give him full range of your house.
Verse 2. They ran out of wine. The enemy of your soul will make you run out of wine.
When you have wine you will sing through trials.
It’s not the plan of God for the church to be ordinary. Don’t loose your joy. Keep pushing through because the wine that Jesus made was the best wine, we are the end time church and we will get the best wine. Best anointing, greatest joy, for the greatest harvest.
The joy of the new wine gives you strength to endure to the end.
In the relay race the batton cannot be thrown over the wall because then the race is over. The last runner has to be the fastest he will bring the batton home over the finished line.
We cannot let our wine run out. Give us our joy back. Our excitement we have lost it we have the fire of God the church needs to back.
Mary when to Jesus because she knew that He was supernatural. She knew He could turn water to wine.
There is no wine because we are leaving Jesus out of our Programme.
Mary noticed that there was no wine. Oh that God would raise up mothers in every church in Barbados.
When Jesus replies to Mary she could have taken offense but she knew His heart.
Don’t let little things stop you from getting your blessing. God is about to pour out His new wine in Joel he announces it. Don’t miss it. Help us to have our hearts in the right place. Take Mary’s advice do whatever Jesus tells us to do.
It was the third day and Jesus was at a wedding. It’s His intention for us to have joy.
When Jesus was crucified it was the third day when joy came back and He rose from the death. It may look like nothing is happening but this is the third day. Look out for the earthquake, I hear a rumbling, the angels are coming down and the Holy Spirit will be poured out. And the church of God will come forth with new wine.
Jesus told the servants to fill the water pots and they filled them to the brim. Not half empty we want our joy to be filled to overflowing. Fill me up to the brim Lord. Jesus did not pray over it He told them to fill it up and then draw it out. Not fill it up and sit on it but draw it out.
Draw it out and put some fire of the Holy Spirit on the devil. Draw it out, fill up and draw it out.
You are here to facilitate a miracle. Jesus could have spoken a word. But He wanted them to do their part. Hold your position and facilitate a miracle.
Jesus didn’t criticize or condemn them because the wine ran out he was there to get the wine flowing again.
It’s for you to receive and then give it out.
It’s the third day! The day when everything that was dead is Resurrected.
