OPERATING UNDER THE EMPOWERMENT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD

Theme: Its been a long time
Text: Luke 8: 26-39
It wasn’t the alarm that woke you up this morning it was God that woke you up to worship Him. You have a right to praise the LORD.
I want to worship like David until something falls off, my pearls fall off, my burdens fall off, darkness falls off.
God wants to prepare a table for you in the presence of your enemies.
In Luke 8 Jesus met a certain man, which had devils for a long time
You have been waiting too long. There were a lot of people that have been in their situation for a long time.
The woman at the well had her problem a long time.
The women with the issue of blood
The man at the pool was there for a long time.
The man at the gate waited for a long time
Lazarus was dead a long time so much so he was stinking!
Even though your situation has been around a long time GOD hasn’t forgotten you. Your time wasn’t wasted.
God likes to turn up for people that have been waiting for a long time. During the journey you are learning how to trust God, He is taking you through His boot camp.
He is taking you through your process, proofing and pruning season. God is waiting to give you your expected end.
During your long time the devil likes to preach a sermon to you ‘Where is your God, why are you not getting through?’
But God has plans for you, He is coming through. Satan can frustrate but he cannot change the plans of God for your life.
It’s a long time but they that wait on God they shall mount up like eagles they shall renew their strength.
Eagles have a very long life span, an eagle can live up to 70 years, but to reach this age the Eagle must make a hard decision. In its 40’s it’s long and flexible talons can no longer grab prey, which serves as food. It’s long and sharp beak become bent. It’s old aged and heavy wings, due to their thick feathers become stuck to it’s chest and make it difficult to fly. Then the Eagle is left with only two decisions: to die or to go through a painful process of change over a matter of months.
So, the Eagle flies to a mountain top. There the Eagle knocks its beak against a mountain top until it plucks it out. After plucking it out the Eagle will wait for a new beak to grow back and it will then pluck out its talons. When it’s new talons grow back, the Eagle starts plucking out its old-aged feathers. After 5 months the Eagle takes its famous flight of rebirth and lives for 30 more years.
I will praise the Lord in my long time of waiting, you are waiting purposely, while you wait you are keeping on trusting God, keeping on trusting His Word spoken over your life, keeping on standing on the Word of God, holding onto those Prophetic words. I will not lose faith during my long time but I will enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.
My God is still a winner and a long time waiting does not change who God is, it doesn’t change the menu of God for you. It’s time for your breakthrough it’s time now for your victory even though it’s been a long time now it’s over. This is a new season, like the eagle, God has given you new feathers to fly.
As the eagles pluck they feathers and go through their painful experience so too your new feathers will grow out of your painful season and you will soar.
Get rid of the poor me mentality.
Jesus is here. Forget the long talk he is asking you today. 'WILT THOUGH BE MADE WHOLE. TAKE UP THY BED AHD WALK.' Your Victory is in your walk. Your walking activates your victory.
Your destiny is and will remain in God’s hands.
The eagle may looks bloody and half dead but God is doing a new thing, while you wait God is preparing you for a new season.
Like the eagle who was naked you felt naked, financial naked, emotionally naked but God is intervening into your long time of waiting.
The devil thought he had stripped you but God has a double portion for you.
Your time of waiting is over. Every time God has something special for people in the Bible they had to wait. Abraham waited, Sarah waited, Noah waited, the man at the pool waited and every time he tried to get to the pool someone else got there before him. But he never gave up and he always had faith that one day he would be healed. All those that got to the pool befor him were ministered to by angels but the man who waited was Ministered by Jesus himself.
Jesus asked ‘will you be made whole? Then just get up and walk, walk into your blessings, walk into your breakthrough.
As you walk you are crushing the enemies head. Take your victory walk. You will have dominion over all things.
When the eagle takes off after she has grown her new feathers she flies to the sun, God is giving you new wings to fly to His Son.
Your 'long time' is over, the woman at the well after a long time finally met a man who touched her soul, touched her spirit like no other man could touch her. She went and testified 'Come see a man..." and the entire village was saved.
The devil has lied to you but God will remember His own and in due season you will not be shamed.
God has been processing you, mounding you like a piece of clay to be a vessel in the Master Potters hand. It’s a long process so when He uses you then you will be ready, you won’t sabotage your ministry, so stay in the fire, the longer you stay in the fire the stronger you become. Those that endure to the end the reward in heaven is great.
Your problem has been there so long that it stinks like Lazarus.
You have waited a long time. The Enemy has whisper in your ears that nothing will happen for you but GOD is processing you. Stay where God has placed you. The race is not for the swift but for those that endure to the end. God is taking note, checking you attitude and your aptitude this will determine your altitude.
When things happen too quickly you are tempted to think you did it, if things come too easy it can pull you away from God. But when you have to wait a long time it draws you closer to God as you trust Him in the waiting.
'Long time' doesn’t stop God, it just makes the miracle greater after a long time.
The devil has lied to you long enough, Jesus said ‘it is finished’ . He says you’re victorious, you’re an over comer.
We will see the glory of the Lord we are believing for mass miracles here at MZM.
Hand your 'long time' over to God today, there is a blessing with your name on it, don’t go home with out it.
