Theme: Called to endure Text: Hebrew 2:1-9 Apostle Lucille’s salute: Before the battle has begun we have the victory in advance, it may look so or feel so but we go by what God says, keep your eyes in the LORD. He is your strong tower, He is still the Lion of the tribe of Judah the devil is only like a lion. Apostle Chris Hebrews2:1 We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. 2 For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, 3 how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. 4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will. 5 It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking. 6 But there is a place where someone has testified: “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him? 7 You made them a little lower than the angels; you crowned them with glory and honor 8 and put everything under their feet.” In putting everything under them, God left nothing that is not subject to them. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to them. 9 But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. Jesus is the Truth and the Life no one can come to the Father but through Him. A church is where we meet fellow believers to praise God but we are the church. Most people want to do it our way, but our way is not the best way. You cannot fall far enough from God that He cannot reach you. The highest mountain, the deepest sea cannot separate us from the Love of God. If the Lord does not help us no one can. In the big issues like death and eternity we need God. The church has an obligation to care for the poor and the hurting. But we must point them to Jesus. There is no goodness in any of us but when we come to God we become His Righteousness. If you touch Jesus you will never be the same again. He never loss a battle. God has a plan for your life, don’t walk away from God, don’t become offended and leave church. God wants us to be an Ambassador for Christ. We are only where we are because of the Grace of God The earth still belongs to the LORD, Barbados belongs to Jesus, and one day we will have to stand before Him and account for our life, what did do with His Son Jesus. He came to save mankind. In the animal kingdom there is order. There should be order in the families but because there is now no order in broken families there is now problems in the schools. There is order in Heaven. There is no order in the world, the sun is exactly in the right position to sustain life there is order in creation. God did a fantastic job when He creates mankind and then He put us in dominion. We must bring order. We must see God the way He is, God does not see us according to how much we own, have, know etc Jesus was sent to reestablish the relationship between God and man. He will not leave you and forsake you. Keep looking to Him, keep praising Him, lift Him up and He will draw all men to Him. Once people’s hearts are open He will come in, what a wonderful God we serve. He will never leave you or forsake you He will be with you to the end. Absent from the body Present with the LORD. Open your eyes to see Jesus. You are precious to Him. |
