Speaker: Apostle Dr Lucille Baird Theme: Anointed by the Holy Spirit Text: Joel 2 Everyone who ever wanted to see Jesus left their agenda. Today we left our busy schedule to come and worship Jesus In those days they visited a baby today we visit a resurrected King. Wise men still seek Jesus and when they find Him they bow down and offer praise and worship. Jesus said He had to leave so the Holy Spirit could come. God is going to pour His Spirit out as never before in these end days. The Holy Spirit carries the load, when we are heavily burdened let the Holy Spirit take the load. Jesus did nothing without the Holy Spirit. If Jesus needed the Holy Spirit how much more we do. The Holy Spirit raised Him from the dead and the same Holy Spirit will quicken our tired mortal bodies. He was there from the very beginning: Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. He was there at the conception of Jesus: Luke 1:30-35 30 But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.” 34 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” 35 The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. Verse 35: When you have mountains in your life, you have breakthroughs that are not happening then ask the Holy Spirit ‘How am I going to get this done?’ When the Holy Spirit comes upon you it covers you and there is a demonstration of His power. He is your outer garment there must be manifestation. In you He is changing your character but upon you He is empowering you. Verse 35: He comes with power. When He comes on us we must conceive something Supernatural and birth something. 1 Samuel 16: 13 13 So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David. Samuel then went to Ramah. The Holy Spirit comes on you for you to do something, to get the job done, for the glory and honour of God, so souls will be saved. David a shepherd boy had the power of Holy Spirit when he faced Goliath. His language changed, the warrior was stirred up and he was able to do the impossible because the Holy Spirit makes all thing possible. Goliath saw the boy but he missed the anointing and look what happened to him! Holy Spirit is looking for vessels on the earth. He is looking for Maries to conceive, He is looking for Davids with one stone. One person who will believe in the impossible. When the Holy Spirit came upon Samson look what happened. In the last days God promised a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit Joel 2: 28- 30 28 “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. 30 I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. Every person in this church will be baptized with the Holy Ghost and Fire. He must come upon them. It is time to bring forth, to birth that ministry, the calling on your life and you can’t do it without the Holy Spirit. God wants to pour out His Spirit, before Jesus started His ministry He had to have an encounter with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a reviver, a refresher, our comforter, our guide, our best friend. Acts 2:1-2 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. You cannot make it on your own, you have to have the Holy Ghost to come upon you. Prophet Word brought by Elder Hinds Get ready, Get ready, God is about to do something extra, something extra ordinary. Supernatural. The Spirit came in on Wednesday at 'Prayer, Praise and Worship' and asked for more people that would come and worship Him at these Wednesday sessions. Apostle Lucille, God says that the Haywood’s area needs a Word. Keep on guard, there is a march ahead but don’t give up, God has anointed you for the journey, many will come against you but He has anointed you for the battle. Be on guard, don’t stop, when God shows you something speak up, be a trumpet in Zion. 2019 will be a great year, something is shifting in the atmosphere.
