Game #8: The Door

Jesus says ‘I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in…”

Jesus says ‘I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in…”

(Rev 3:20)

Child 1 dressed up like Jesus hiding behind the door.

Child 2 encourages the children to open the door when they hear knocking saying “Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart”

When the child opens the door …

“Jesus says ‘I stand at the door and knock, (Jesus pretends to knock on the child’s chest)

If anyone hears my voice (Jesus places his hand behind his ear like he is trying to hear the child speak)

and opens the door, (Jesus pretends to open a door)

I will come in (Jesus uses his fingers to look like he is walking)

Jesus is a gentleman and He will not kick in the door to your heart or come in uninvited you MUST open the door and invite Him in.

(The door can be simply made of cardboard)

Seen here on our recent Mission trip to Haiti.

At the end of Game 8 the child is given a little Bible Track to take home. It is the Knock Knock track this can be folded twice down the dotted line.

It will look like a door, when opened it reveals the verse when opened again it shows Jesus.

The offer of Salvation can take place after Game 8 as Jesus is knocking at the door of their hearts or continue onto the Two Chair Skit (Optional)

A small boy stands with one foot in each chair, pre warn him what is going to happen and the outcome of the drama.
