OPERATING UNDER THE EMPOWERMENT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD

Apostle Chris Baird Speaker:Apostle Chris Baird
Theme:God will always turn up on time for you
Text: John 5: 1-9

1 Some time later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish festivals. 2 Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades. 3 Here a great number of disabled people used to lie—the blind, the lame, the paralyzed. 4 One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?”
7 “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”
8 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” 9 At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked.

At the right time God will always turn up on time for you. It is usually when all your support system has failed. He is never late.

The sick man was unaware that after the angel left and he was dragging himself back that someone greater than the angel was on His way his name is Jesus.

In due season, it was his season, he was desperate but everyday he went hoping. He was ready and looking for God to move and heal him.

No one wants to wait in this day of fast everything! Fast food a microwave mentality. You don’t know when the Lord will be ready for you so be ready and watching.

No matter how desperate keep your eyes on Jesus, nothing is impossible with the God you serve. He is the master of the storm.

You are at the threshold of amazing things you are on the brink of a breakthrough.

Jesus asked him, “Do you want to get well?”

What an obvious question, and now all the excuses are given. God was stood in front of him and he was still looking for a man.
7 “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”

Don’t be afraid when someone gets there and gets their blessing before you don’t be discouraged your time is coming.

Don’t miss your moment when God turns up for you.
8 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” 9 At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked.

You think that everyone would be happy.

The day on which this took place was a Sabbath, 10 and so the Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath; the law forbids you to carry your mat.”

Religion will not save you only the blood of Jesus.

Will you be made whole?
