Apostle Lucille Baird Speaker:Apostle Lucille Baird
Theme: As it was in the days of Noah
Text: Luke 17: 26-29; Genesis 6: 1

Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man

There is a flood coming don’t be swept away. God will never flood the earth in the natural but this new flood will take away people from the church. It will affect our minds and stability in God, it will not be a physical flood but a spiritual one. We will not be carried away by the flood. The flood comes to test your faith.

Life went on as usual and as it was then it is now.

Luke 17:26-27
26 “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.

They did not listen to Noah, they kept cursing him as they do the church today.

Choose to be in the Arc or you be in the flood. The flood is coming but God has built an Arc.

Luke 16: 28-29
28 “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.

Yes have family time but be cognizant of the time we live in.

Genesis 6:1
1 When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them,

Man has multiplied today, and just like them when they they thought they had arrived was when they changed. The blessings come from God but their multiplication came from man and changed them. But when God multiplies you it should drive you closer to God. When God multiplies you then you should pay your tithes. The 10% is God’s pay Him.

Genesis 6:5
5 The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.

Man became evil all the time, so it is now. If you behave that way you invite a flood.

They made God repent

Genesis 6:6
6 The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.

They made God sad, vex, annoyed. They church needs to buckle down and be determined not to displease God.

In those days there was only one man found Noah and He made a covenant with him.

Genesis 6:9-10
9 This is the account of Noah and his family.

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. 10 Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth.

Noah saves himself and his family. God is testing our heart.

Genesis 7:21
21 Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.

A flood is coming we can’t be playing church anymore. The church must be holy and righteous.

All mankind died BUT...

Genesis 6:8
8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

Genesis 6:11-14
11 Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence.

Sounds like today, we are in a bad place. We must stand for God. We will not compromise we will stand on the word. We will not be carried away by this flood or corruption.

Genesis 6:12
12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways.

All were corrupt in those days as in our days may God help us. We will live by the Word of God.

Genesis 6:13
13 So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. 14 So make yourself an ark

Noah found favour with God. He was a righteous man, justified by God, in the midst of all the mess.

Genesis 6:9
9 This is the account of Noah and his family.

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.

He

was in a place where he should have been. Noah obeyed God and he pleased God. Genesis 6:22
22 Noah did everything just as God commanded him

God established a covenant with Noah

Genesis 6:18
18 But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.

God protected Noah and his family.

Genesis 7:1
1The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.

God loves cleanliness, the clean animals outnumbered the unclean.

Genesis 7:2
2 Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate,

Where do we stand? In God’s Arc there is safety, righteousness, holiness.

The flood of violence and immortality is coming, even to our island Barbados and the church must take a stand. There is a flood coming don’t be caught up, take a stand. A flood of Antichrist material. A flood of pandemics, of godlessness, a time of church closures. We never thought COVID would touch us, but they tried to take the Lords supper from us. A flood is coming.

What will our response be? Will we qualify to enter the Arc, or will we be washed away?

God tested us during the CORVID will we be found standing
