OPERATING UNDER THE EMPOWERMENT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD

Theme: The righteousness of God verses the righteousness of man

As the authorized auricle of God I clear the atmosphere over this house. This atmosphere is charged with the Empowerment of the Holy Spirit and the Righteousness of God. We break through in the North in the South in the West and in the East. God says “I was with you in the beginning and I will be with you in the end” He is going the whole journey with you. Amen Fire to the enemy we don’t know what the enemy has planned for you this week we send fire. The enemy is coming to steel, kill and destroy so when He says send fire - send fire. Warfare like child birth is not cute it’s blood letting, cutting off the head of the enemy. When the enemy is after you don’t play cute.

Introduction:

The righteousness that was on Adam and Eve was pure, God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit has an high end board meeting and decided to create man.

Genesis 1: 26-27
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

If man would apply what was his and realize who he is in God, man could walk in the Righteousness of God.

Genesis 3: 1b-5
“Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”
4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Man has been from the very beginning tried to use his own efforts to cover his sin. Sowing fig leaves to cover themselves from sin. Covering with our self-righteousness, stop trying to hide and cover up your filthiness and put on the Righteousness of God

Adam and Eve were covered with the glory of God. But when they fell they covered themselves.

Discard our righteousness and take on God’s Righteousness. Our righteousness is like filthy rags we are only justified by Jesus’ righteousness

What is righteousness?
It is character it’s integrity, purity is life , rightness and correctness of:
1. Thinking
2. Feeling
3. Acting

Don’t just think and feel use the Word of God before you act. Righteousness is the condition acceptable by God.

We have a lot of saved, church goers but they are not righteousness. Man is always trying to use a fig leaf to cover his evil.

Genesis 3: 9
9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

1. Man wants to exalt right penalty that is the righteousness of man, repay tick for tack but God’s righteousness is to forgive them because they know not what they do.

2. Man’s righteousness says you have to have a name and fame. We are fussy who we invite to our home .
But Jesus said in
John 14:2-3
My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

3. Man’s righteousness says an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth but God’s righteousness says turn the other cheek.
Romans 12:17-21
17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.
20 On the contrary:
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

We can’t use our own righteousness we have to live according to God’s righteousness

4. Man says I will only give if you can give me back but God says I will give you even if you don't give you back.
Luke 6:30
Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.

5. Man’s righteousness wants bad things to happen to people that hurt us we want vengeance
Psalm 23:5-6
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Man’s righteousness says let me get even you don’t have to fight but God tells Moses in Exodus 14:13-14
13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

6. Man says to block but God says be still I am the Lord.
Ex 14:13-14
13 And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation[b] of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold[c] your peace.”

7. Man says you have to pay for your health God says as long as you believe you will be healed.
Isa 53:5
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.

Mark 9:23
23 Jesus said to him, “If[d] you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

8. Man’s righteousness says I will hold what you say in my heart the spirit of offenses will take over and it opens a door for demonic oppression
Micah 7:19
God says “You will again have compassion on us;
you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.”

9. Man says you are too bad I don’t want to associate with you but the righteousness of God says
Isaiah 1:18
“Come now, let us settle the matter,”
says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool.

Apply this righteousness to people around us.

10. Man says I will give you a good send off when you die but God says I will not say goodbye to you but bring you back to life.
John 11:25-26
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

11. Man says I can reward you but God says I will give you a crown of glory
2 Timothy 4:7-8
7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

12. Man’s righteousness says it’s my money I can do what I want to do with it, God didn’t work for this money it’s mine.
But God’s righteousness says
Malachi 3: 10-12
Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. 11 I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty. 12 “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the Lord Almighty.

It is not yours it’s God’s if you touch that 10% the other 90% is cursed .

13.Man’s righteousness says do as you please, eat drink and be merry
God righteousness says
Matthew 6: 33
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Choose the righteousness of God your righteousness will never get you into Heaven

The righteousness of God is through the blood of Jesus.
Today man’s righteousness send everyone to heaven but it’s only through the blood of His Son it’s the great exchange. It’s not by might or by power but by His spirit

Christ is our righteousness
Hebrews 1:9
9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”

Ephesians 4:22 - 23
22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Hebrews 2:1
Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.

1 Cor 1:30 - 31
30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— 31 that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”
